Hi all Merry Xmas before I start. I recently converted my HZ from trimatic auto to m21 4 speed manual and my problem is the clutch. I seem to be running out of pedal. By that I mean that there is bugger all distance off the floor when the clutch engages. Lately I have been unable to s*** up or dawn as the gears will not engage. The clutch cable is new. I have experienced this problem once before and found that the nut/blot where the fork attaches to in the bell house had come loose. I adjust this and nipped up the lock nut and the problem went away. Could this be the same problem if so is there a permanent fix or will the adjustment on the cable on the side of the bell house fix it. Also how do I adjust the cable Thanks

The clutch fork throw doesn't sound to be enough.
As part of your conversion you might have fitted the incorrect clutch pedal,, the HZ has 2 styles of set-up & 6-cyl is different again to V8.
The title says 'slipping clutch', but not fully disengaging is different.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |
