Hi all,
Was hoping for some advice/info from people who have one.
I currently own a 2009 Commodore International and am looking to downgrade to the above Cruze. Does anyone own one of these or know of anyone who does?
Would appreciate being made aware of any known problems with them or any other information anyone has prior to biting the bullet and selling my Commy to get one.
Thanks!

I don't have one and most likely not many on here would. suggest you type 'holden cruse problems' into your search engine google or bing or whatever and see what crops up. unless you don't have the space for it or some other reason you have probably had all the depreciation on the commy you might as well stick with it for a while, more comfortable, safer, whatever was going to go wrong probably has already and whatever you get for the commodore will probably be lost in the first 3 years of depreciation on the cruse.

I am not a turbo fan but how does the 1.8L go as far as all the opposition go. 1.6L turbo should be better than the 1.4L. why don't they have a 1.8L turbo. The cruze is just a daewoo mainly is it not. something like a KIA or hyundai even if this lot are getting better than they use to be, but they still are some what backward cars. just for your average joe blow who does not know any better or care really what they are driving as to them it's just transport.

Hi all , I have a 2013 SRI-V Cruze Hatch back 1.6t , went in to buy a 1.8 cdx Cruze & came out with this one! Our other driver is a VE SSV Manual , so when I drove the Cruze 1.6t I really could not beleive how well it went !!! Done 6000km now & no problems , economy is not as good as expected , filled up today average 9.3l/100km , dealer said it will get better . Mine is Pussian Steel with silver Holden strip kit , looks very smart . Mark. |

I can't help with the Cruze query, but as John said, why not stick with the C'dore. He makes a good case and it's the same reasons I'm keeping my VZ wagon.
Sure rego & fuel will be less, but depreciation on the Cruze would cover that & more. |
Attn camry drivers. The accelerator is the skinny pedal on the right. |
