I have found a what i think is a HK holden but it has a badge on the boot that is flat on the top with a v shape bottom. It is divided into four parts that are red, silver and blue. Has anyone seen one of these or can tell me what this is? Cheers[img][/img]

Is it in the centre of the boot, if it is I have seen a few HK's with this before. Is this the badge? http://s233.photobucket....n%20album/69_G.jpg.html

Yes that's the one. So does that mean that it is a monaro or did they come out on the kingswood also?

I have seen them on Kingswoods and Premiers also. Maybe a nasco option.

National Automotive Service Company. NASCO was an "in-house" spares and accessory supplier for all things GM. This link although for a FB holden will give you some idea. http://members.tripod.co..._holdens/fb/fbnasco.htmlEdited by user Sunday, 9 March 2014 6:49:38 AM(UTC)

Thanks for that HGV8. Do you know why it would have this badge? Why do some have it and not all?

When owner was in show room looking at the extra's you could get he probably thought I wouldn't mind having that on my new Holden. Their was a huge list of extra's you could get for the HK HT HG models. |

As mentioned above, it is a Nasco accessory.
It comes as a kit (P/No. 7437890) for the selling dealer to fit to the boot lid of any HK/T/G sedan or coupe, as an extra cost accessory, just like mudflaps or a towbar.
