Get a load of this, defintely either a second type 327 or a HT-G 350 auto engine but it looks like someone has taken to the endine number with an angle grinder!

I'd say it is a HK engine as I have a few here with similar cast and completion dates (Oct-Nov '68).

I think he has his hand on it with the price though. Sure it COULD be worth that if you could find the car it came from. But by the looks of the welded up engine number it could be suspect.

Shame as I have a Pagewood second type engine. I can't say i've ever seen an Elizabeth one out of a car, only this Pagewood one and a Dandenong one that Phil Bartolo had a few years back. Given this one on Ebay is in WA there is a good chance it was once an Elizabeth one.

Hi guys.

Whatever it is the engine number has been fiddled with and anyone looking for a bonafide engine should be very careful. the way it presents, it is worth the $350 he paid for it on Gumtree.
