I need as soon as possible VK speedo cable mainly outer will take inner and outer. speedo drive gear from lower cable light brown or orange colour suit vk 6 cylinder auto towbar suit wagon. in perth WA prefer north of river yesterday would be nice not so urgent..electric mirrors, electric aerial, keys for removing radio or a template to make them, will pay plus postage from anywhere. also vk set of gauges condition not that important as i plan to modify the dash anyway. thanks Edited by user Thursday, 5 June 2014 8:49:06 AM(UTC)

John, Print this picture out on a photocopier - you may need to scale it to get it the exact size (use the measurements as a guide) |

Thanks Mick what is the length and width of the two side prongs? and the centre prong? from just behind the arrow point to the base, where it narrows down some one must have some drive gears!

don't know if it is the scrap dealers but early commodores seem to have disappeared completely.there are very few being wrecked.

Hi John, I don't know those dimensions - that's why it's a template. To use it, you print out, scale it up/down on a photocopier until the total length works out correct, then trace it onto some flat sheetmetal & cut it out. |

Commodorenut Mick got the radio removal sorted out thanks to your diagram, ended up making separate arms as i couldn't get the distance between them just right, however the radio is out!

Greg at classicoz still wrecks VK's. Commodore Shop in Cardiff gets them sometimes too. Greg will post stuff and small stuff like guages won't be expensive. I think I have zero VK bits left, |
