Looking at purchasing what supposed to be a original 308 saginaw 10 bolt
5/70 HT premier wagon but its other side of the country and thought it best to get advice here first before taking the trip to see it. The model code 81235 confirms it as a V8. Its white with gold coloured trim with brocade style seat faces. Owner said it has the saginaw linkage hump and impression in fuel tank for 10 bolt. Is there any way of confirming the 4 speed and 10 bolt salisbury from its build plates?

Model 81235TR (whats the TR mean?)
Body No 317-H5 (where was it built?)
Trim 1192-11T ( Can't find what this trim code is?)
Paint 568-11401 (Is this a white paint code?)
Top
Thanks

No you can't pick it. But if it is a 308 manual it will have a 10 bolt hump. 253 manual will be a banjo.

TR is HT right hand drive
317th V8 wagon body from the Pagewood body plant.

1192 is paint combo for Kashmir White all over.
11T Antique Gold Metallic Vinyl. The T is used for a Premier, it changes for model and insert type. 11A is the same colour vinyl in a Belmont with different inserts etc.
568-11401 is the paint code for Kashmir White.

You only have to be in front at the end of the race.

James, 11A isn't the same colour vinyl as 11T. Belmont used a single tone vinyl and it was simply called Gold. Premier is Antique Gold.

Same colour generally, I'm not an expert on HK-T-G era.

You only have to be in front at the end of the race.

It is the same for most of the late 60's and 70's. Base spec HK-WB (Belmont and Holden) and base spec Torana have different trim and names for the vinyl. 60V for example is called beige in Belmont and Chamois/Covert for Kingswood up. Base model black is 19V (or 19W in some cases) whereas it is called Slate black (18V) in Kingswood up. 64V (and 64W) is Fawn in Belmont/Holden and Gazelle in Kingswood up etc.
