Could anyone help with what would be a fair price for a pair of early 327 heads - casting number 3917290? Heads would need full reconditioning. Thanks.

Hard to say. I've found them easy to find, have about 4 pairs. They are the same heads as GMH assembled 1968 Pontiac and Chev so lots around. I think the most i've ever paid is $100 for a pair. Canadian GTS327 heads name your price! But the US 290's not so much.
Best bet is to try them on Ebay.

yeah sorry not much unless they were a casting date some one wanted, the pair I had for my 327 hk were given to me for free.

Thanks gents. I wont be retiring afterall. I don't particularly like ebay (sick of paying 10% commission) but they may end up there.

If they are cheap enough and close enough I'd buy them. Freight is the problem.
