Hey,

I'm wanting to buy a HOLDEN HQ SS 1972.

I'm happy with any of the 3 factory colours (infra red, ultra violet, lettuce alone).

Preferably complete!

Willing to travel Australia wide to purchase!

Please contact me if you have one for sale or know of one for sale!

Thank you

Leroy
Cheers,
Leroy

Here's one. A bit expensive for what was a pretty common (high build number) car but looks nice. Some mods away from original but still nice.

Here's another but a bit more modified, claimed to be an SS though.

The lettuce alone SS looks nice though I have never seen one with intergrated air before. Noticed its had power steer added also.
My grandfather sold his white hot special to my uncle then bought a new lettuce alone SS new. I thought it was the ducks guts at the time.

SS are nice but not worth the coin asked for some. A HQ XW8 would be my choice for a HQ sedan. But SS are very cool.

Thanx fellas!

I have seen the lettuce alone one, however thought it was a bit $$.

I have seen them sell in the low $20s in Immaculate condition.

I have wanted one for years, how I can finally afford to but a cool car! I can't wait to take the family for a cruise!

Cheers,
Leroy

You'll probably pick up a HQ GTS sedan in good condition in the 20's if you can't find an SS.
