I've just recently listed a NOS front engine mount on eBay. Find yourself a crossflow head for your grey motor, you'll have some fun with one of them. My brother had one in an FC and I tell you he frightened a lot V8s around town. The body of the car looked great but, it was stock standard FC. And he kept a lot of them guessing what was in the engine bay by not lifting the bonnet too often to reveal what was underneath. He had a lot of gear on the motor to you might say compliment the crossflow. That was back in the late 1970s tho. There will be a few blokes on here that will be able to tell you some stories about grey motors with crossflow heads.
