Hi all new member, 1st post,can any advise me how to remove the horn button/cap on my original HG sports wheel , I have tried press in and turn to the left is this correct Im not sure.

Hello Mike, and welcome to the forum.
If you have the original GTS steering wheel, the top cap is a press fit in the horn button adaptor. You don't need to twist it to remove it, just gently prise it out with something like a straight bladed screwdriver with some tape wrapped round the end so as not to scratch it. It is probably a good idea to pull the horn fuse out first if you plan on digging deeper.

By the way, don't be tempted to belt and bash the steering wheel if your intent is to remove it and reinstall it. You may very well collapse or deform the nylon basket which forms part of the collapsible steering column. There is a special puller for this purpose, although you could probably easily make one.

thank you very much GM I will go very easy, is re-install hand press on or a light tap with a plastic hammer.
