Hey Guys, I bought an XB sedan today to be a resto for my Mad Max replica. the seller gave me a set of Bathurst Globes, they look pretty cool! and so was he for throwing them in with the deal! what year did they come in and what model were they popular on? I'm thinking the XC Cobra??? I'm thinking I'll put them on my XA. also what would be the value of a set of 4?
Cheers.

Hello Phill,
Globe Bathursts were optional on XY GT's (smooth outer rim) XC Cobra's and standard on XD ESP's

All of them were 15 X 7" I believe.

XY versions with the "lipless" rim and the small centre bore are worth a motza.

Later ones not so much I swapped a pair for an $80 set of alloys a couple of years ago.

There is a set on eBay at the moment from an ESP you could
get a clue from those as to whether yours are genuine Ford or aftermarket.

There are also several sets of overpriced XY type ones too.

Hi Jim, Thanks for the helpful feed back and the ebay pics. I can see the outer rim is different with the lip in those pics. I have never had taken a good look at globes till now. I recon they will look real good on the XA that I will bring back to life! they are in storage now and I'll have a close look at them when I see them next.
Cheers! :-)
