personally, id buy the new shocks to go with the new suspension system, saves a bit of the money in the long run, and you will know that the shocks that you got will be up to the task. an extra 200 bucks per end of the car maybe?

whatever you do make sure your not on your bump stops under load as I lowered my XE and it just locked up it took forever to stop so if your close you might have to either cut them or do something. I also agree get short travel shocks you've gone this far

Yeah agreed, new shocks. After all you will be removing them to replace the springs anyway. I just hope the rest of your front end is up to the task, it is not always about looks.
