I have recently purchased a ZD to restore. It has headrests that sit over the original lo-back bucket seat. the headrest itself is a tube profile with two chrome supports. Is this a Ford option or some kind of aftermarket setup?

If its like a chrome frame arrangement that has U shaped arms that just sit over the back of the seat, these were an aftermamket thing you got off an accessories place. They would be legitimate items though as they were from the same era as the car, just

I am pretty sure that this is an aftermarket setup. If you look at the origional sales brochure, there are no headrests on any of the seats. I've been driving one for the last two years, and there is no facility in the seats to support headrests.
