i was just wondering how much i would be expecting to pay for a 2v head in good condition. and also where i could pick one up..


what are the advantages of putting a 2v head on my 250, over the standard inlet manifold.


any comments would be great..

arhhhhhhhhhhh now someone who nows a good thing.ok,ive had a few 250 2v's and i personaly think there great,the have more horsepower and torque than any crossflow and are very easy to work on and maintain.what sort of car do you have?the only cars that ca

How rare or desireable is this engine?I have recently been advised of an XA Futura which is supposed to be a 2V car and may be for sale by it's original owner.No-one I have asked has been too excited by it.

they probably have know idea what it is.or you have a kings ransome on the car?like i said i had people try and tell me there not a ford engine,so who knows what there thinking.an xa 250 2v with a toploader (or c4) is a good,rare car.does yours have a fac

sorry i thought you owned the car.like i said from my experiances people generaly have know idea what a 250 2v is,and an original xa with 1 is a good quick car.there only going to increase in value,unlike other cars which decrease in value.plus they are f

Had a 250 2v in a ski boat, it was fitted with a Valiant carby and I changed it to a 350 Holly, both carby's seemed to perform the same but the boat went like the powers.

Hey, just looking up some info on 2v's, I have an XB ute with pre-cross flow motor, reasonable nick, like a few more ponies without losing the good old six! 2v head sounds good, but how hard/expensive to track down? do you need all new valves to go with

Do you know if the 2v head will fit onto the early 200 out of an xp and if so what if any modifications need to be made.

I have an XB falcon running a 250 2V but about a week after i purchased my manifold as i already owned a 2v head i came across another manifold so i grabbed it thinking the more the merryer... but now i may be interested in selling it for the right price

i have a 1974 XB falcon running a 250 pre crossflow and was wondering if anybody can give me some tips on how i can tweek up the motor as in extractors cam a holly any info would be greatly appreciated
