hello every body just wondering if anybody knows how to link up the accelerator and kick down linkage on a xy falcon (6cyl)to a holley 350 on a 2v head.the original linkage comes up from the pedal then twist at the carbie.the 350 linkage gets pulled towar

in my cortina it has a cable so it wasn't a problem.ford made them factory in the xy so there has to be a way to do it properly.

Hey, I have a sweet as original 62 XL falcon, 170. Heaps of people keep comin up to me at servo's etc offering me a 2v head for it, its got original 89k miles and is due soon for an overhaul, and I am becomin very interested in puttin a 2v head on the 170

mines a 250 but i am sure a 2v head will fit yours,you will have to fiddle around with your accelarator linkages depending on the carbie you fit, and an adapator plate to suit,but you wont regret it. more power more economy ,(allso extractors).if you can

ive got an xy wagon, i did up a 2v engine with a mild cam 350 holley, balanced,the biggest valves that fitted in the head, and heavly ported, MSD ignition and extractors it put out 230hp at the flyweel, and was hooked up to a EB 5 speed and 3.5 diff gears

Ive got an xy sedan for sale - 250 2V. Largest sized valves you can fit - gas inserts, towing cam, bored out slightly, recently rebuilt. Strong new engine. That powers a rebuilt C9 with a cooler.

I bought a 1981 fogd granada (I know its an old lady car) It has a 200 I6 in it and sits on a fox chasi. i need to know who makes a header for fox bodies and i am looking for a 250-2V but so is everone else. I love info give it to me !!

i have hot 250 2v sitting in my shed........it was built 5 yrs ago,and has since been on stand under cover........head has vaves done 4 gas.....gas cam 40 thou up pistons,xe electronic distributor,350 holley,should b lovely motor,if ever it hits road....a

also have factory original 2v accelerator linkage to suit xy.......very/very rare.sort of same as v8 one...but over to one side,instead of goin down middle...if you know wat i mean...........took me years to find it.....

i put a 250 standard into my xp.
just change to xp mounts on the engine,
and xw mount brackets off the cross member.
also the spacer on the fan will need to be chopped in half.
quite easy if you have a steady hand resulting in a 15mm spacer

XY with 2502v head in your cortina would probably put out 180hp? Hope this helps
