Hi all looking at getting a diff from a friend for great mates rates, its a V8 diff from a VH commo. If it is a single spinner can the center be changed to make it LSD? If so what sort of costs would be involved?? Thanks Waz

Yes you can fit an LSD. But beware that there are two diffs from this model. Firstly the small salisbury, which is really only a banjo in disguise. Secondly the large salisbury, which was normally only fitted to 5 litre VB-mid VK and VB rally cars. This d

Thanks for the info, is there an easy way to tell them apart?? Seen lots of 10 bolts advertised is this I should be looking for?

In this thread on street commodores I posted pics of a salisbury & a large sals as well, showing the physical differece - the small sals is a rounded cover, the large sals is egg-shaped.
