Hi All, I've been cutting and plating the rust on my ZD for a while now and as part of this process have stripped it down to it's jocks! Is there a way to remove and replace the stainless trims on the drip rails without wrecking them or do most people mask them and paint around them? In the interests of a good paint finish i would prefer to get them off if possible to allow me to sandblast the gutters to get a good solid base to paint on. Anyone done this before?

If they're anything like Holden ones of the same era, then there is a special tool that acts like a lever, allowing removal without damage. Check a Ford Dealer.
