Phil,
All you need is engine/box/shifter and a radiator. Possibly V8 chassis mounts? Thats it. I am assuming the engines 100% complete from radiator->box.
Just wire the ignition to the V8's coil as it's wired to the 6's coil and your done.

Forgot front springs for the suspension. If you don't change them? It'll sit about 1.5->2" lower than it did with the 6 cyl.

It would cost a damn sight more than buying a whole V8 wagon in the first place.

You only encounter issues Phil if you've got a manual. If so you'd have to change the yoke.
Yes, I thought exhaust was too obvious though

Cheaper to fit it youself and if unsure get an autoelec for the electrics. I used to charge people $400 to remove and refit an engine. Fitting the engine is straight forward.

Have to agree with Bill. Go buy a rusted v8 and drop the running gear into your car. You would be surprised how many little extra things you are going to need. You will also need to put the V8 springs in the front of your car plus the sway bar is a bit

you need the engine mount brackets that bolt straight in plus an automatic like a c4 or c6 or c10 or fmx all in order of power required you can use the same diff if you dont plan on doing to many burnouts ,other than that it is a bolt in conversion apart
