hi can anyone tell me what needs to be modified to place a 460 big block in my xb sedan and would i need a engineers certific cheers boys

Engine mounts, new gearbox and new extractors. Yes, you do need an engineers.

does anything need cutting out of the engine bay and do you know a good place to pick up a 460 big block because i've been searching everywhere there hard to get. do i have to change brakes and things like that?

Your engineer will be able to answer all of modification questions and explain the reasons why.
460s and parts can be easily be found in the Just Parts magazine. If there isn't a private ad, there would certainly be a Trader with something.

No it drops straight in. Like it was meant to be there in the first place.
The only issue is changing plugs.

try and get a fuel injected 460 that would b a wikid motor and better on fuel

Why dont you try stroking a 351 cleveland less to worry about and they arent a bad motor no worries with engineering,not too expensive to rebuild.

Brenden's right on this one, it drops straight in. You can be clever about gearbox changes too if you're considering using a C6. Try getting your hands on a small block C6 and a big block C6 then have the rear shafts and housings changed around. You wil
