Ok, the plan is as follows.
Pick up a second hand 250 x-flo,
hone bore, new 10:1 pistons & rings, new bearings, gaskets and seals. Mild cam, lifters and springs. Already have 350 holley, (now with 61 jets instead of 58's!!) and tune length extractors. 2" system with a hi flow muffler side piped (ute). Its already got 4 on the floor, disc rear, KYB street/race shocks, king springs (2" lower) and strut brace. Rims are hustlers so brakes get plenty of air, any thing I'm missing?

I'd realy prefer to stay away from stroking as then rod length pin to piston top and deck hieght start coming into the matter. Besides I dont have enough money to buy a crank and rods.
My local guy's have ACL forged flat tops (+40 thou with rings and pin

Ooops, I forgot about those engines, yeah I suppose they would only need 12 lifters. We used to have a couple of Taxis with those motors in them, they went forever.

Yeah yeah, I'd love to do an 8, but I'm only 18 and insurance would be a biatch, not to mention if I'm doin an 8 it'd be done properly and set me back about $15000+ just for the engine (351W). In the mean time I wanna build a 6 for the track/street. Hot e
