I know between 1973 and 1974 that Ford brought out an Escort MK 1 in the RS 2000 format with a pinto 2lt motor in it. Was this MK 1 Escort ever manufactured here in Australia or just inported from England? Any help??

im pretty certain the mk 1 was manufactured in england

up to 1977 i think and then they were being manufactured in aus
