Can someone explain how the lockup works and how I should use it. Accelerating from 85 up a slight incline it easily drops out and back a gear.Is this normal as I have been told that it should just accelerate without dropping out.HELP.

It has an electro mechanical swicth. for some models you can buy a manual over ride for them to switch it on and off, but I doubt you can get it for the BTR as its an Australian only issue and not enough of a market for it.
