SMART LOCK LIGHT IS OFF INTEREROR LIGHT WONT WORK AND STEREO OFF. CAR WONT START BUT TURNS OVER AND WARNING LIGHTS ON DASH ALL ON IS IT SMART LOCK & HOW TO RESET IT IF IT IS?

I have a old keypad from an NC fairlane and have heard that you can reset the vehicle to learn or teach the same code. This would enable a replacement keypad
