Hi, What would a rebuilt 308 blue long motor be worth? No klm's,New pistons,rings, bearings, cam, lifters, timing gears/chain, oil pump, water pump, in car for testing, aussie pattern and includes alternater,carby and electronic distributer. Completly stock standard in a WB DeVille.Ready to be transplanted and go. Cheers

I am asking what it is worth? The engine is currently with a buggered #3 piston and I want to see if it is worth spending $1500 on parts and machining rebuilding it and selling it off or just wreck the motor of what is good eg carby,distributer etc. I jus

Lee what you have to do is ring a couple reconditioners and get the price to rebore, grind big ends and mains, redo cam bearings, recon heads, then get prices from repco etc for new big end ans main bearings, rings, pistons, gaskets and oil seals. It's no

The Qute is coming along a bit slowly at the moment. I have the permission from the rego people to do the mods, but am going away in a couple of weeks to do a lap around the western ½ of the continent in the VY.
