Hi all, can you recommend a simple after market cruise control switch.How much and where can I purchase?? am in Melb.

I have fitted a couple of commander cruise control units and they are not bad, they hold the speed well, but do not give full throttle control, will drop out up a long hill if you do not pul it down a gear manually.
They are around the $2oo mark fro

Thanks Warren but I only require a switch control[but not a stork type]as I have the rest of the unit.

The switch control can be anything. I fitted one to an HJ and used the heated rear window swith for on and off and a power antenna switch for the up and down speed.
Which after market unti do you have?

I don't have an after market, I have the original set up for the v6 and it is fitted in a early model but need a switch which will screw on to the column rather than a stork type.

Then all you will need is a on off switch and two push buttons, does not matter what they come off.
Any reasonable auto electrician could adapt something.
The after market type come with ones that bolt to column of stalk, but as I said earlier

Talk to Command Auto in Sydney, they have a setup for the stalk and a new style for the wheel.
