I have a dual fuel 202 3 speed manual HZ wagon which I'm toying with converting to a 253 with the V8 3 speed manual box that I got in a parts car. Now the engine fitment is a snitch, however will the current LPG convertor for the 202 be adequate for a standard 253? Thought someone may have done this, if not I can always call a gas fitter place, however they'll want to sell me a new one!!

Thanks

Peter

What model/brand gas converter do you have? If it is an impco model L converter then you should have no problems. I run a model L on my 253. Another common converter is the omvl r90. This will also handle a v8 with no problems at all. Also regarding Impco

Thanks for that, I will have to look for the codes on the unit and will let you know what I have.

Cheers
