A friend of mine scored a 50000 km VN ex cop car...not a chaser but must have been a detectives car or the like..its a V6 auto but none of the dash lights work except for 1 that shines down thru a tiny slit...just enough to see the speedo.
I assume chasers are setup similar but I'm wondering if anyone knows where they cut the wire or do they just pull the bulbs out or what did they do?
I was hoping to be armed with a bit of info before I pull the dash out.

I assume you've already done this, but have you checked the fuse?

VN dashes would have to be the easiest dashes to pull out. Just unscrew the 2 self tappers up under the dash fasia at the top, and the 2 under the wiper & light switches.....and just pull the fascia off. Next undo the self tappers that hold the dash

And also check for a dash light turn off switch as these were fitted in later series cop cars but not sure with VN.Turns off the dash lamps but leaves that one speedo light on
