Okay Guys Please help me understand this. I installed the alarm today all went good then went to install the relay to immobilise it. Anyway on the starter circut I cut the yellow wire coming off ignition the prob I have is when on turn the key to the on positon the wire I cut going back into the harness of the engine was live the wire coming off the starter switch was dead. I thought the wire on the starter side gave the wire going to the engine power when I traced it back into the engine bay there was a pink wire that was giving the yellow wire power at the wiring harness. Anyone explain it to me please I ended up cutting the pink wire and the yellow wire where it went through firewall joined them up and ran them through a relay have I done bad thanks
