Hi,


My daughters 4cyl Barina has developed a backfire.... I have replaced the plugs, leads, fuel filter etc but to no avail...


any idea's

I'm no expert on these newer cars (my newest car is a 1984 commodore!), however does it run a crank angle sensor, if so this could be faulty or the wiring to it may be damaged.

could be a head gasket, check compresion.

hey if a car is backfiring through the timing could be somthing to look at or if it has a air sensor at the filter this may be playing up
