Hi all,
Have recently purchased a door solenoid kit to use when i shave the handles off my EK... Apparently they are illegal but i have seen a few pics of Australian road registered cars that have shaved handles and use solenoid kits... I am in NSW and am not sure what the go is? any light that anyone can shed on the topic will be greatly valued...
Thankyou

shaved handles are not legal in NSW.

Door button kits are the go or levers as previously mentioned.

If you look on Oldholden.com.au, and look in Streetneats gallery, you'll see how he does it. He wrote the SM article.

So how did that title come about?? Oh sorry, just finished the rest of that post ; p

I have also seen a few cars that use a mechanism attached to the wing mirrors - they are hinged so you pull them forward and it opens the door..
