putting hz ute back on road after 10 months of rust and body repair. have heard about lanolin is being marketed as a rust prevention product and would like to try it on ute. has anyone tried it and does anyone no where to get some. (sydney area) thanks

All I know about Lanolin is that it is a natural moisturiser found in sheeps wool.


Selleys RP7 uses lanolin as the main lubricant whereas the more inferior WD40 uses silicon.

Australian Classic Car mag for Sept had an advert for a lanolin product.

Wool wax is the raw material for lanolin. Wool wax is available from Australian scourers like Nikke Port Phillip Scouring. We are the only scour in Melbourne reply to [email protected]. There are no scourers in Sydney.
