I have a 9/85 VK Holden Commodore Manual sedan 304 cu V8 the inlet manifold on t has a model No 88-1 and a part No 92015955 can you advise what HDT option this was the VK Grp A has a part No 92095955 and the standard part No is 9932890 I know the motor is HDT as all Manual VK's from 8-/85 were fitted with them mine is the V7X motor option

Not all manual VKs got the "HDT motor" - the V7X is a good case in point - it is prefixed with a VG as the engine #, and has things like the baffles sump etc, but missed out on the B-cast heads & large valves.
It was fitted to manual V

All VK V8 manual Commodores were fitted with the HDT Performance engine option.
V7X or VG Engine prefix means it is a HDT 4.9 litre with small valve heads.

I have one of these 92015955 manifolds. Mine also has the number 88-3 (month of casting?)on it. There is no ribbing in the floor of the chamber, and the dual plane divider has not been cut down.
GMH advises me that these manifolds are called eithe

You're missing the point totally.
The V5H motors were built by HOLDEN to HDT spec - they never went near HDT, nor were ever touched by HDT unless the base car it was fitted to was being modded into a HDT vehicle.

My Compliance Plate is stamped 134 as the option code, the vehicle is acutally 8/85 not 9/85 as in my origional posting. I have had the carby Off and the central plane is there but as two elongated holes from front to back and the floor is flat, not ribbe
