hey i was looking at 2 wb ute chassies 2 day and was wondering what the A&E prefix was ie.AWB EWB where they juss year of make ie A=79 B=81 C=82 D=83 E=84?

Just different ADR variations on the model. Same as all other previous Holden models since HQ. AWB is the first of the WB's ie 1980. I think WB and HQ are the only two models that went as far as E.

ohh ok thankyou i was just looking at 2 chassies 1 was AWB704A and 1 was EWB35750A just thought it would be year dateing or sumthink

The EWB will be very late. Can't remember for sure but probably late 1984.
You are better off with the earlier one as it only has ADR27A compliance applicable.
