Hello everyone, finally ready to do the conversion of my WB Caprice to VS SS engine and auto. If anyone out there has done something similar and has any advice or instructions for the simplest way of doing it the input would be appreciated. I'm looking at getting a kit from Pat Gardner or equivalent. Is there anyone in Perth that does similar kits? I have the whole SS car so if anybody needs parts off a 96 Black SS let me know. I only want the engine and trans. It has a mini spool diff, the SS trim is immacualate and 145,000 on the clock. (Car hit a tree and was written off.) Boot lid has the SS spoiler and it has the VT SS rims and new tyres. I'm in Paraburdoo so getting the parts may be the biggest problem but we do have Overnighters service the town daily. Any help appreciated.

Talk to Castlemaine Auto electrics. I think you will have problems getting the auto to 'talk' to your speedo as there is no speedo cable attachment point. A friend of mine put a VS 5L and Getrag into a WB 1-tonner, and he had to gut the speedo and have a

Kalmaker make an adapter for the speedo. From memory they are about $135.
