has any one put a wb statesman diff into a wb ute?
any comments or direction would be very much appriciated.

Hi TOM.


The are 2 main differences.


1. You will have to have the trailing arm brackets removed & 2 new leaf spring mounts welded to the diff housing, position & diff pinion angle is critical.


2. The Statesman's rear disc calipers

COULD YOU LEAVE THE TRAILING ARMS ON AND WELD A NEW BRACKET TO THE
FRAME? OR SHOULD I NOT BOTHER AT ALL.WOULD JUST LIKE DISC DRAKES ON THE REAR!

You do not have to swap the entire diff assembly to worry about trailing arms etc just swap the brakes ,axles and any of the other stuff needed. But as mentioned the park brake bracket is a pain. Use lowering blocks to allow the bracket to clear the leaf
