hi ive fitted a wiper indicator stalk to my hq, and hooked up the wiring too the original wiring but there is an extra 3 wires from the new switch, there i 2 black with whiite traces, and 1 orange one where do these go? thanks

Have tou used the stalk with the rectangular plug or the one with the long black terminal strip/plug? The rectangular one is no good to you as it has no reversing light wiring - remember that HQ-HZ use the blinkers as reversing lights and this is facilita

Hi Guys.


Byron, I think he means he has fitted a Commodore style stalk to the original HQ blinker switch.


This means all the blinker wiring remains as is & he only has to wire up the wipers.


I think the extra wires he is referring to

Yes you are right. I was thinking about the whole column assembly, including the column housing, blinker mech etc. The spare wires will be for the hi/lo beam facilitation.
