I have seen electric GTS Mirrors listed on E-Bay a number of times. What were they fitted to from factory or are they an aftermarket product from the seventies?? Cheers

AFAIK holden didn't release electric mirrors until the WB (I think series 2 even), so I doubt they are genuine.
My thoughts are that they may be some form of import, or a clever individual has fitted the motors & mechanisms from something else i

They are a LUKEY sports mirror that was availabloe with both electric and manual operation.
They were relativiley big in the late 70s, you wil see them advertised in old Wheels and Motor magazines.

I have 2 pairs. They were original options on the WB Statesman Caprice, I believe they were about $800 as an option. They are basically the same shape as the wired cable ones, not the GTS shape. I believe they are developed from the Cadillac ones but the

Thanks Warren for taking the time to read the question and give a factual reply. I have heard many stories as to what model Holdens these mirrors were fitted but I have not been able to work out where the factory switch would have been located which made
