hi i want to know if salisbury diff centres are all the same, say from hq 1 tonner to commodore etc,? thanks

They are all basically the same, but there is also a small salisbury that was fitted to UC Toranas, 4, 6 and 253 Commodores and 6cyl WB's plus very late WB Statesmans. I think the 2.6 and 2.78 centres are interchangeable, and 3.08 to 4.44 are interchangea

The small salisburys are the bango crown & pinion. I beleive the 2.6 had its own unique housing for this ratio as it lists it as its own. As far as i know their was no 2.6 bango ratio. All wb statos had 2.6 salisburys

I've never actually seen a 2.6 small salisbury up close either, and I doubt that one ever existed. However I've seen a few VERY late WB statesmans over the years (ie late 1984 or later) with small salisbury diffs fitted. I don't know what ratio they were

I had a 11/84 WB caprice and had the 2.6 heavey diff and i belive they stoped them in Dec 84.

One tonners had different thicker axles, the actual crownwheel and pinion is the same. All the other info others have posted is correct
