Just wondering if anyone can recommend someone or somewhere in Melb where i can get some rust repair sections welded into a pair of HG front gaurds.I went down to RS today to check them out and found that they come in three sections and that welding them in properly and getting everything to line up afterwards is probably beyond me and at $100 a side i don't want to stuff it up.I've given up trying to find a relatively rust free set but if someone out there has a pair i'm interested.Thanks

Having done this a few times before I can say it's not as hard as it looks. The first rule of rust removal is: yes you will need some bog, but the small amount you need is better than packing a rusty hole with bog and have rust reappear a few months later

Carl i had my HG gts guards repair a few years back including all rust repair sections and returned to me in primer cost me $700 at the time but the job is tops.RS actually did them for me i dont know if they still do
