Hi, I've just purchased a 1984 VH Commodore and I'm looking at replacing the 4 cylinder with a V8. My question is what would be the largest engine size & Trans that I could go to without altering the structure of the vehicle? Would I also need to change the diff? Thanks for any help.

the singles are similar thickness to the old VH40/VH44 types fitted to early holdens.

The bracket on the front of the master is bolted to the strut tower and then folds back behind those nuts (so you can see them) to then go onto the nose of the mas
