can u fit a VK efi to a red 202?
and if so what will be involved in converting a red 202 to efi?

Yes you can. You can either bolt the whole motor in, or fit the top end onto a red 202. There is basically no external differences, but the black 202 has stronger rods and a fully counterweighted crank. If you bolt the top end onto a red motor you need to

i want to use the head off of the red motor because it has just been rebuilt with hardend valv seats and new valvs

You can't. Sell the head to Rocky (see 202 torana post below) and use the VK one.

if you really want to use your head you would be best to custom make a set up, easiest way would be to use one of those "weber style" setups. you will probably need an aftermarket computer to run it.

I looked into a setup from efi hardware - it would be cheaper to buy a VK injected motor and reco or modify it and put it in... I couldnt believe the cost for their efi setup.

i would also like to know if the cam i have in my 202 now will be any good with efi it is a XU1 cam

Should be good I understand the EFI cam is very close to XU1 job. Might even be better than the EFI one as the EFI one has timing to suit pollution control so may be running a degree or 2 late.
