I have been offered a complete set of triple SU's with manifold and everything for my HX(202 Red) for $400, they are all overhauled and ready to bolt on and go. is this a good price and is it worth putting them on as far as fuel economy and performance go, i.e. will my fuel economy be severely compromised for the extra performance and will there be much of a fifference in the performance, the car already has extractors, so everything shoulg just bolt up. Any advice would be apprediated thanks.

For that money you could buy a clapped out VK injected and go injection, no tuning problems, more power, probably better economy. Bit more work though

I beleive that to be in the upper part of the price range for a set of triples...but not unreasonable for a complete working set with linkages and fuel block. I disagree with John...because if you fit the VK EFI There is a lot of stuffing around to do and

for $400 I believe that's very cheap, but might not go that good on a stock engine, but the setup will make good power in a modified engine, I've heard of the SU's using alot of petrol though.
