Hi All
I am just wondering what model celica gearboxes most peaople use to hook up to a V8 (308). There is one for sale from a TA 22, is this model useable?

Hi Sandman 308.
No, the TA22 is the early alloy Box, not very strong, suitable for 4s & small 6 cyls only.

Dr Terry. i dont know how much money Sandman308 is willing to spend,but for a 5sp box i went for the T5 from a Falcon as its shorter than the c'dore box and the gear stick comes out asmost in the right spot as im doing a Sandman Van.But be will to spend a

Thanks for the replies
The T5 is something to think about. I was also thinking along the lines of a top loader or supra 5 speed. Definately something other than the M21 I have at the moment.
