OK, got a question you guys maybe able to help me with. A mate of mine accross the way said his older brother ( his about 68 ) told him that the early FJ's (56) had different grills and front bumpers in them to the later FJ's (58), he reconds the later grills and bumper ar bigger or fater. Is this true? I carnt say I'v ever realy stoped to look at the car shows. How about it guys any answers for me?

There was no change in grille during the life of the FJ, only from the 48-215 maybe that is where he is confused. The fe-fc certainly had a differnt styled grill in 56 onwards too!
Another difference in 1956, was the introduction of Elascofab two -tone b

Apart from the two tone upholstery with the trim buttons on the 56 update there was a change in the style of the bumper bar over riders on the "air-ride" model . I wasn't aware of any Grille changes with the FJ model
