Removing the resistor permanently will usually get it going. But as there's no teeth or missing teeth. Hmmmmmm. Flexdrive used to make em I think, and they used to be in Sydney. But that was 20y ago. Maybe EBay for another clock ?

What model GTS is it. For my Q I used the internals from a Gemini TD/E ( can't remember which ) The internals were almost identical, and I swopped the dial and hands ( again I can't recall the details)The clock is still going strong after 7 odd years

Took the advise of earlier trouble shooting of gts clocks. Wasn't working, so changed out resistor with new one. It worked for half a minute then stopped. Had seized up, ended up pulling clock down to show all cogs and found that the one that runs of the drive cog to metronome? gear ( plastic to steel one with 5 or six teeth ) is missing some teeth and some are bent over. Does any know if there are replacement parts or should i just throw it away and get another.

If you happen to find the name that would be great. Not sure if I'm prepared to pay that sort of money when I have a VDO clock sitting in the shed. But if we want things original and e-bay doesn't show anything in the near future, and the Gemini option do
