Hi Guys I scored an Edelbrock Torker manifold from my brother in law on the weekend. he ran it for a few meetings on a super modified at speedway about thirty years ago and then changed to another manifold. It's been on a shelf in his workshop all these years and is in good condition. IF! i can get the bonnet to shut once i cut the hole for the shaker scoop (it's looking pretty close at the moment) what sort of rev range were these things designed to work best at? I'm getting feedback from a few people that this may not be suitable for a large car like the Fairlane. Has anyone had any experience with these manifolds? I checked the Edelbrock website but this manifold is much taller than the pictures of the Torker shown on the website. Thanks

6pak, hi read your question, this may not be any use but i had a74 ltd (very heavy) with a 351 clev i put a higher range cam in it with one of the older edelbrock high rize manifold 2" spacer under a 850 d/pumper .The boat flew good at low and high revs,

Hi Chris, Thanks for your input. I cut the hole in the bonnet today and it all JUST fits which was one of my main concerns. Based on your info I'll give it a go and see how it all works once the engine is rebuilt. Thanks
