just wondering what transmision cross member to use with a T350 into a VK, ive tried using the trimatic cross member, everything lines up etc, but the cross member makes the rear of the transmions sit up to high, is there a T350 cross member to use, any info would be appreciated.

Cheers RVK 355

The TH350 was standard fitment in VB, VC, VH with a 308 (note that early VB had the TH400, and late VH had the trimatic though). Just find one of these x-members. Holden might still have them new, but I doubt it.

If the TH350 is the same as the TH400 you can use the trimatic cross member you just need to change the transmission mount, these are available new from holden. All bolts straight in. I just fitted one.

TH350 is a very different mount. They mount the same as a Saginaw or V8 Powerglide.

Hi RVK 355.

No, the crossmember is definitely different & unique for the TH350. It has the mount much lower than the Tr-Matic etc. It also mounts further forward.

Dr Terry.
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

From the discussion so far, are you sure you've got a TH350? Could it possibly be a TH400?? Is the yoke on the end of the tailshaft massive, or is it the same as a trimatic yoke? There is absolutely no way a TH350 will mount on a trimatic crossmember, so
