looking for an ex ambulance based on the hj/x/z 2 tonner see photo
and collector of all things ambulance police fire and the odd hq to wb parts |

Hi mackV8.
Dual electric fans of any Ford EF/EL/AU or BA is a popular choice. Also Commodore VT/VX or VY.
You will have to wire them properly using multiple relays, get somebody savvy with wiring.
On an HZ V8 the best fan set-up is a genuine visc |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

use a VN V6 fan and shroud. might need a trim to clear the engine but its just plastic. hook it in series with a temp switch straight to the battery (fused of course) ive seen them go at wreckers for $50

electric fans are better due to them working at full speed while idling, and you save a few HP

thanks for replys the engine runs good at 70 kmh and above but way to hot in trafic and at idle on hot days air con on under 50 kmh it will boil has had engine flused 2 new radiators replased viscos van so on to next step elec fans thanks al |

Bosch AU/BA ford unit is the way to go have tried the v6 unit and it's not worth a pinch of you know what against the for unit better fit also, Cheers Jim.
