hey fella's i just got an xf with a 250 x-flow and was wondering what is the cheapest/most effective way of giving it a quick power boost

extractors and a good 2 1/2 inch exhaust.if you aint got the money for a new set of extractors (round $350) get a second hand set otta the trading post ebay etc (round $50) will cost a round $300-$400 for the system to be fitted.make sure you get free flo

Check your alloy head. On the inlet side at the front there may be a stamp C1 or C2. These are higher compression heads (C2 especially) that should give better performance.

Run your XF on higher octane fuel as well. this will also help clean the motor out a lil, and make it a bit more responsive. Ie Bp Ultimate, Caltex Vortex - both are 98 octane, whereas regular unleaded is 91 Octane.

Actually dude ry running your car on optimax with nulon octain booster the fuel strength additive.advance you timing.if it is a carbi engine replace the carbi with a 350 holley or if the carbi on yur engine is a ute carbi.the ute carbi ones,the butterfly'
