Something out of the ordinary, but it also has to appeal to the majority or burnout comp followers, large cube v8, short exhaust, tubbed for plenty of rubber, short for quick helis and easier manouvering.

Maybe a blown v8 austin/morris ute?

Ive been planning on building a v8 powered gemini for burnouts. How much trouble is it to place a v8 into a gemin?

*Puts flameproof suit on*

Torana with a RB25DET or RB26DETT.

Fully alloy, Double Overhead Cam and Variable Valve Timing. That should be light and nail most things on the strip. You don't need a 454ci motor to make 2 wheels spin :)

Cheers

Not tooo sure about burnouts but there used to be a drag racing mini with a 186 powerglide and shortened diff, it did reasonably well, and the crowd went wild everytime they saw it! it had no weight, and hammered, also low cost??

I'm currently building a cc Lancer with a 351 Windsor C4 and 9 Inch. You should have pretty solid rear suspension and softer front, that way throwing the car around is a piece of piss. I wouldn't put a turbo on a skid car, to much heat build up, superch
